What is a pre trading period and a post trading period? Why bother, why not just say 7:30CET - 22:00CET?
Eurex Exchange - Trading hours

So the Eurex exchange closes every night from 21:00 GMT - 06:30GMT?

What is the most liquid time for this Bund?

Thanks.

The best volumes are typically seen between 9am and 5pm London / Frankfurt time (3am - 11am New York time)

You'll often see an increase in volumes when NY walks in and around major data releases. Once London goes home volume peters out and the bund will drift around or follow ZN / ZB

edit: just saw @xplorer's response. He's right of course, I just tend to lag about 30 minutes behind everyone else

Great thank you. This at least gives me a starting point and something to watch. Looks like a nice mover, Ive been going through a few different futures instruments trying to find something that feels right and I think (I hope) I have stumbled onto it. I've traded the DAX quite a bit and it was my favourite CFD so lets see how this Bund turns out.
Thanks again.
