can the Flip function be used to create an InTrade function which tracks the market position of a strategy. i would like to create Cover = InTrade AND some criteria. i.e. it should first check if the strategy has a Short position right now, only then execute the Cover signal.

There is such a code using the same "Intrade" variable/function which uses the flip function. Got it from youtube. If you still want it I can search in my afl store.

Milky

Sadly I am not yet allowed to post link. But no problem, go to YouTube.

The tutorial is from "DaveASXWatch". Search "Plot Apply Stop On a Chart" at YT search box.

Happy coding!
