I need someone who has far more knowledge in the Financials, to please fact-check my Profit calculation on the Main Bonds/T-Notes/Euro Bunds

In all calculations, I am assuming that each market moved/a profit of 1.23

ZB = 1.23 x $1,000 = $1,230 ( Profit ) ?
ZN = 1.23 x $1,000 = $1,230 ( Profit ) ?
ZF = 1.23 x $1,000 = $1,230 ( Profit ) ?
ZT = 1.23 x $2,000 = $2,460 ( Profit ) ?
UB = 1.23 x $1,000 = $1,230 ( Profit ) ?
ZQ = 1.23 x $4,167 = $5,125 ( Profit ) ?
GE = 1.23 x $2,500 = $3,075 ( Profit ) ?
FGBL = 1.23 x $1,100 = $1,353 ( Profit ) ?
FGBM = 1.23 x $1,100 = $1,353 ( Profit ) ?
FGBS = 1.23 x $1,100 = $1,353 ( Profit ) ?

Thanks so much for the help
I'm a bit lost in the accuracy of the proper way t calculate / the Math on these

Thank you

What is the question ?
  • If you want to compare different bonds, it probably makes more sense to talk about the tick value ($ gain/loss for a minimum +/- move) for a single contract ?
  • Another parameter is the margin per single contract
  • And of course the liquidity

Hi rleplae ,

I guess I was trying to compare the same Move in each of these markets , and see if I had the Profit on them all correct ...... Apples to Apples if you will , But then again , maybe in Bonds/T-Notes/Bunds you can't compare Apples to Apples , as some of them are traded in 1/32 , 1/16, etc. and therefore have different Tick values from ....... $31.25 , $15.625 , $7.8125

As well as....... 32nd of a Point , One half of 1/32 of a point , one quarter of 1/32 of a point

Just need some help in figuring out how to accurately calculate the Profit on these , using 1.32 as the " Move " per Market ( ZB, ZN, ZT, ZF, UB, BOBL, etc. )

Thanks so much

ZB : 1 Tick : One thirty-second (1/32) of one point ($31.25)
ZN : 1 Tick : One-half of one thirty-second (1/32) of one point ($15.625, rounded to the nearest cent per contract)
ZT : 1 Tick : One-quarter of one thirty-second (1/32) of one point ($15.625, rounded to the nearest cent per contract)
ZF : 1 Tick : One-quarter of one thirty-second (1/32) of one point ($7.8125, rounded to the nearest cent per contract)
UB : 1 Tick : One 32nd of one point ($31.25 per contract)
