Emini-watch Better Indicator signals off on Tradestation for ES charts.
Hello,
Looking for fellow Emini-Watchers to help me compare the Better Indicator setup for the S&P emini futures on Tradestation. I'm focusing on 1/3/17 trading day. As I watched the latest Emini-Watch video, 1/3/17, I was comparing his signals to mine and my signals were way off. I know there are differences in tick data between users on the same platform as he notes but this is a little ridiculous.
This is Emini-watch chart from the video. This is his MTF 500 tick bar chart but the BM signals are from the 1500 tick bar chart.
This is my setup.
Notice that the differences are quite significant. Can anyone compare their chart and/or share their experience with the charts and the tick data? If you have any tips to make these chart more similar I'd like to read them.
Has anyone used eminiwatch indicators on the thinkorswim platform ? How difficult is it to adjust these indicators ( the set of three-Better sine wave;better momentum; and better pro am) to work on thinkorswim? thanks
Don't know if this helps. I recently started using Barry's MTF on NT and I noticed different Sinewave levels on two different 500 tick bar charts
The difference turned out to be in the amount days data I backloaded. One chart had 6 days of backloaded data, while the other had 12 days. When I matched the backload history, the Sinewave printed the same levels.
