If you are like me, you absolutely despise the default Windows 10 photo viewer.

I found a fantastic replacement. It's open source, fast, and just amazing. It also has a frameless border option, which makes it stunning to look at. If you are a geek, you are going to love it.

Download:
nomacs | Image Lounge

Then you can tell Windows 10 to associate it by default.

It's 2 hours later and I am still in awe over how awesome this program is.

Be sure to try borderless mode, and add some panels like thumbnails.

You can thank Windows 10. They set default to "Photos", quite possibly the worst program I've ever seen -- slow, buggy, ugly, terrible.... and they completely took away the old "Photo Viewer" from Windows 7 days. Yes, I found articles that give regkeys to get it back... but instead, I searched for something better, and found this!
