I am wondering if it is possible to store content offline to view when no internet connection is present? Possibly through the FIO app?
Wanted to view some threads omw to school (which is a long commute) and so was wondering if it is possible to store a limited amount of pages in a thread offline or something so that I can read it without using my data constantly (as it adds up very quickly).
thanks ,
john
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Sorry but no. But using our Android/iOS app would use close to zero data, there is a setting to limit bandwidth on non-wifi connections (no images load by default).
In addition to what Mike suggested the other option is downloading some offline browser apps (I'm assuming you have a phone or tablet) and save the content in there, or save the pages locally to your PC (either as HTML or as PDF) and then download them to your mobile device.
I don't know.... I think there will always be (or at least there should be) some facility for offline content management.... there will always be occasions when online connection is not an option...
Also, personally I like the idea of having the ability to unplug occasionally...
