Mike, I have ventrilo installed and have a connection to another server... I expected that when I clicked your link "ventrilo://forum.bigmiketrading.com... " it would actually create a new connection with hostname and port assignment (or at least take me to the information for me to do so myself), but it doesn't. I then started up ventrilo and clicked the link again... it opens up a new futures.io (formerly BMT) window in my browser... what about just posting the hostname and port assignment... I'd be happy to set up instructions with pictures, etc.
ok.. I'm in... but I don't think it is possible to create a new channel (room).. ventrilo instructions say only those with server admin privileges can creata a "root" channel... and since there is nothing but the root at this point (except for "mneumonic")... ipso facto, can't create a new channel/room.
nope.. you must have to set it to do so... I don't have a particular need, but wanted to let you know since you thought otherwise... you might want to create a general user log in so you can test it from the "average user" perspective
