I believe that you can only get 14 days of demo (free) data at a time, due to rules from the CME.

@mattz would know for sure. Perhaps he can weigh in here.

You can also go to the SC website and look into their trial offer. I do believe that they can supply trial data for a small fee during the trial period, but I don't recall the details.

Bob.

Bob, where have you been? Hiding from the FL heat?
Any, good to see you.

SC does provide 2 weeks, but they do extend for 30 days upon request for many our guys.

Thanks for the mention.

Stay Cool!!

Not been as active lately. And man, the Florida heat is brutal this year....

I took the SC demo and got it extended to 30 days with no problem. It's covered on the site.

This may be the best deal. Check what they are charging for the data feed (it's a CME fee, but I think it's about $5 or so.)

Bob.

Sierra Chart is a good platform, and their web site has a ton of information on it, but the way it's organized is hard to work with, until you get the hang of it.

Here's info on the data feed with a demo account: Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed - Sierra Chart

Here's the basic demo account info: Help topic 59: What is Included in the Free Trial? - Sierra Chart

I am not clear from these whether the data is available for more than a 15-day period -- in other words, for the duration of your 30-day demo (I don't know why it wouldn't, but you may want to ask them); also, it looks like it is not pro-rated and will end at the end of a month, whether you got the 15 full days or not. Generally, a demo account from a broker will come with free data for the duration. So you may want to look further into the site, and/or a broker demo account.

You may have to look around the site to fill in the info that you need, but these should be a start.

Bob.

We provide Sierra demo with the Rithmic data. Rithmic gives you data for 30 days, Sierra default is 2 weeks.
So we ask at times (if necessary) to extend SC so it runs out with Rithmic. We do not go beyond that because sadly there are guys who simply log in once during their trial and never take advantage of the trial period.
