I was watching Jigsaw's videos on Youtube, and i wonder if there is an indicator available in the internet like the "iceberg alert" that he mencioned in his videos. Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
probably not. havent seen anything like it. If you do find one pls let us know.
however reading it in context of OF is what gives a nice touch by jigsaw. by that i mean Hidden Liquidity or test of liquidity by the hidden orders "icebergs" aka limits.
On a certain moment i had "stored" 4-5 weeks of icebergs from the eurostoxx future, via Jigsaw but got a power outage, and so lost it all. (as you cant save it, at least i never found a way)
Got me thingking if someone stores it in Excel, and thereafter overlaying it on a chart for study and analysis.
@DionysusToast would there be a subscription based pricing model for this ? (dont think so lol, but you never know maybe you can see nice stuff with it....)
hi..will let Pete respond since you directed towards him.
however not sure what you looking at with in terms of icebergs. icebergs just a fancy name.. the basis of which would be hidden limit orders in the book. if one can identify limits being run or corresponding markets. then getting deeper and within the limits to see icebergs being run is good but not necessary. if only using icebergs as trade entry/exit it maybe challenging.
jigsaw does not run a subscription. the tool itself is a one time payment with some sort of money back if not satisfied.
however many use it for scalps. i do use it for 4-5pt scalps or more....rather once a certain condition is spotted on my charts....i do look at jigsaw or bookmap for further insight.
yes would be great if we could have stored the markers of icerbergs on the chart. maybe it's something you could request in the Ask Me thread of Jigsaw.
@paps, i was "thinking" for a subscription for downloading this extra data once a day or when needed together with an indicator which can extract it. Iceberg data and maybe "block buy" block Sell" data. With some additional filtering (let say icebergs above 200 or 300 (depending on market) and buy/sell blocks with filters can maybe add some insights in studies.
But yes, not sure if it adds a lot....
Hi there...sure. you may be having a point and need.
For me a block buy or sell is off no value. Similarly an iceberg by itself is off not much use...unless am looking at certain conditions already before a iceberg is run
