The Dark Side of 'Smart' Meters

"Take back your Power" Award Winning Documentary: snipets

or full length:

You may find this link interesting:

The above: Smart Grid Awareness website, has some interesting facts.

Smart Meter Fires (2016): Burning meters, burning questions, shocking answers

Former CIA Director James Woolsey says, "A so-called 'smart' grid that's as vulnerable as what we've got (to hacking) is not smart at all. It's a really really stupid grid."

"Consumers don't need to be forced to pay billions for so-called smart technology to know how to reduce their utility bills. We know to turn down the heat or air conditioning and shut off the lights. The utilities have shown no evidence of billions of dollars in benefits to consumers from these new meters, but they have shown they know how to profit.
I think the only real question is: How dumb do they think we are?" Lisa Madigan, Illinois attorney general

Do you live in: Greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe area and Las Vegas, Clayton, Ruidoso, Tularosa, Alamogordo, Deming, Lordsburg and Greater Silver City?
They need letters for the NMPRC hearing, which will decide if Smart Meters can come into New Mexico.

Attached is an example of a letter, a resident, can write and then mail to New Mexicans for Utility Safety: NMUS, PO Box 6216, S.F., NM 87502 or PM me and I will supply you an email.
NMUS has been accepted as an intervenor, during the hearing and your letters are needed, if enough people submit letters, PNM will stop their request to bring Smart Meters into New Mexico.

If they stop PNM roll out of Smart Meters, this could be a precedent, which could help other's roll them out of their towns etc.
When the government put into place, to upgrade the grid, it never stated to do it via wi-fi.
There are other ways it could have been done, that didn't create fire risks, health risks and wouldn't cause security and privacy issues.

If you have friends or relatives that live in the above areas, please pass this information on to them.

Below are some links about the health risks:
https://smartgridawareness.org/rf-health-effects/comparison-values/
https://www.pathophysiologyjournal.com/article/S0928-468000017-0/fulltext?mobileUi=0
https://smartgridawareness.org/rf-health-effects/overall-health-impact-of-a-smart-meter-deployment/

PG&E had to admit, under testimony, that there were on average 9,600 signals a day but could be as many as nearly 190,000.
https://stopsmartmeters.com.au/2015/08/03/technical-study-reveals-magnitude-of-victorian-smart-meter-transmissions/
No one is taking into affect: the exposure of these RFR's. It is like 2nd hand and 3rd hand smoke.
It is the accumulation of exposure to them, that intensifies the health risks.

Dr. Martin Blank’s three-minute video announcing the Appeal:
https://emfscientist.org/
(once on the above URL, scroll down to video)

We are now entering the era of “The Internet of Things” (IoT) where all our appliances will be Wi-Fi enabled, endlessly communicating with each other and us through so-called smart devices. This “brave new world” dictates that human exposure to radiofrequency radiation must greatly increase in order to accommodate the technology. This is a planned world being created by technocrats totally ignorant of the reality of our biology, an ignorance fostered by the existing thermal-effects only standards/guidelines. Now, more than ever, we need new, biologically relevant standards to meet the challenge of the future. Do you live in the Greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe area and Las Vegas, Clayton, Ruidoso, Tularosa, Alamogordo, Deming, Lordsburg and Greater Silver City? Your letter can be presented by NMUS during the NMPRC hearing.

Mail a letter: Opposing the installation of PNM's AMI (Smart) meters and equipment. (Please feel free to use your own words, make comments etc.) Mail to NMUS, PO Box 6216, S.F., NM 87502

If you live in the above New Mexico areas or if you have loved one's that live in the above area's. Please let them know, mailing a letter and personalizing it, will help them stop PNM installing "AMI" meter's. If NMUS, receives, enough letters.
They need 2650 letters but more would be better. So, let people know and ask them to tell 7 people and then those people tell 7 people etc etc and they can win this hearing and that will create a precedent, for other towns and cities.
If you are good with social media, please share this information.

There is an interesting documentary. I have yet to watch it but I hope to tonight, I have a funeral to prepare for a friend who passed yesterday. She never smoked or drank but got lung cancer regardless.

There are several truly concerning matters and though many are jaded with chicken-little hipster narcissism and such, I learned quite a lot about this stuff when I had a contract a few years go with a power utility company (office HQ I.T. systems update). Several lunchtime and whatever chats about meters. Coincidentally my father was an electrical engineer who designed power stations and transmission grids etc. so I was advanced coffee table level

The one abiding memory was it benefited the utility companies giving a tighter leash on the customers while there was no significant reduction in power usage after the honeymoon period.

Thanks Rachel.

Sorry to hear about your friend, @Rory. I had a friend who was a fantastic athlete and climber, ate really cleanly, didn't drink or smoke, but still got lung cancer. Now we have a building named for him here in Missoula, but that[s no consolation.

All the best during this time,

Michael

Cheers Michael, I was just going to edit that out as its not relevant to this, you got in there quick . She was one of the homeless ladies my charity helped (trading money doing good). I'm sure living between major arterial roads with massive diesel and gasoline pollution, poor nutrition and particularly stress was the major contributing factor.

It sucks however she had safety in the past months and knowing her child would be protected from such a life made a big difference.
