At some point in time @Big Mike mentioned the new version of the forum would include some kind of a Google map
to see other members relative to your location.
But distance should not be a problem, with today's technology (skype/viber/teamviewer) you can easy collaborate with people being in another continent. I do it myself... and it works

I chat discuss and otherwise with traders in Wisconsin, Bangkok, London, Canada, Singapore, Michigan etc.....How does Chicago sound to you? Or, are you only looking for in your own town/state? We are a rare breed IMHO, my friend. I personally don't know anyone that knows or understands trading as I do, to whatever degree that is. Sure people buy this or that stock, I know, like my barber. Never uses or knows about what a stop is. Who keeps telling me about it and that I should take his "hot tip". Great guy he's a hunter type knows next to nothing about tech or computers. I tell him once in a while about my Excel work, the probabilities I require for a trade business decision and I can absolutely tell it goes right over his head. Made the mistake of telling him an option strategy for a ranging stock, that he could sell a ratio spread. Poor guy was quiet for about 5 minutes. Odd for him....lol. Another very good friend asks anyone he thinks might know for a stock tip. He stopped asking me. Knows absolutely zero about trading. Nothing. Bought PSX on a "tip" that Bill Gates and Warren Buffett just bought it. He has no stop, of course, knows nothing of order types, I mean completely zero. I have told him in very strong words to protect his profit but he does nothing. He is frozen. Does not know what to do but thinks all is fine. Has zero clue. I told him his tiny account could vanish and he could even lose more than whats in his account but he told me I am wrong.....
Point is it is hard for me to find people in this business. So I take what I can get....lol.
