I enjoy the weekends with my family and loved ones but for some reason miss trading lol. nothing like the joy in executing a good trade and loving what you do
Weekends are great. They provide you with a chance to review your trading without any market noise.
They are also a chance to read, get educated, and organize yourself for the week.
Like you, I can not go on long without working, but I prepare a routine for the weekend that I try to stick to.
On the weekend I also dedicate family time that gives me lots of energy for week. All this effort is not worth it if you do not share it with your loved ones.

I used to feel that way and I understand where you're coming from, but the great thing about the weekend is the mutual availability between various peoples so you can spend time with the people you love.

Ten plus years ago, I loved going to work. When I got out of the elevator I felt like 'A Master of the Universe' for lack of a better expression. I was never a TGIF person, I enjoyed my work and was never glad the work week was over. Everyday was a new challenge, no day was boring.
Today I still love trading, and feel very lucky that my job is my passion, but to be honest I'm bored! At the end of the day (I trade for just under 10 hours a day) I'm very glad to switch the computers off and by Friday I'm looking forward to the weekend. When I have a busy weekend, I now wish the weekend was a day longer so I could relax a little.
While I've always been relatively successful, I'm now a lot more successful than I used to be. Wonder if there is a correlation or causation in there somewhere? Or maybe I'm just getting old!
