where is the browse button to locate the strategy/indicator?

The only possibility is to traverse the file system using the ".."
If you need to access another drive, you need to go up all the way to the root and beyond.

It is not possible to type a direct path, like in many other programs...

Way around is to drop your files in a sub directory of the directory that is shown after launching the import...

Thanks! The sub directory was the way to go. Now I get a message saying that "this ninjacript was made from an older incompatible version of NT"

jeez, so I neeed to go back to version 7?

Old NinjaTrader 7.0 indicators are not necessary compatible with NinjaTrader 8.0
There might be a little to a lot of work to refactor the indicator depending on the case...

If you want to share the indicator i can take a look and advice you..

Ah thanks. I downloaded version 7 and it works so will use that.
