Just started using ToS . Still trying to get used the the software but like it so far.

Funding is not required. All that is needed to to create an account.

I never funded it, I use tradeking for live, use TOS paper trading for charting for almost 3 years. No problem, just create an account and choose paper trading.

Do I need to keep money on the account so I can use TOS for charts? I dont want use paper because I feel like there is delay.

For a normal individual account, 250 should be sufficient. They used to have minimums on entity accounts but have changed that as well.
