A couple of years ago I shared an excel sheet for trading stats in here (the reason I'm searching help outside that thread is because BigMike blocked me from his threads, so I can't reply there) and now I'd like to do some changes but I'm getting an error that I can't understand and which I was not getting back then. I'm assuming this is something related to Office and some new option? I'm now on Office 2016 (Office 365). I think back then I was using Office 2007 but I'm not sure. It might have been 2003.
Where previously we add new data (creating new rows to the table) and all calculations were fine, now, when add new data for some reason some cells change the formula and I can't understand why is this happening.
An example, the sheet has 37 rows and the formula in cell Y37 is correct. The Column Y is averaging the winning trades.
Back then, if I had updated this table with a new trade, the cell Y38 formula would be =IF(V38"",IFERROR(AVERAGEIF($V$2:V38,">"&0,$V$2:V38),0),"")
Today, updating the sheet, a weird thing is happening. By adding data, creating a new row (38), cell Y37 change the formula as you can see in the image
Why did excel changed the Y37 cell reference to Y38?
You can actually see many other cells also showing the same problems, Z37, AA37, AD37, AE37, AF37...
Now, every time a new row is added, the above cells formula get changed.
How weird is this?
