Masse,

it should work fine. Although I would suggest sticking to the current Global Variable version, as 2.2 is outdated.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply.
Have you work with it yourself?
You suggest sticking to the current Global Variable version.
What is the current Global Variable version?
Can you give me an example?

Kind Regards // Masse

Hi Masse,

yes, I have worked with it and still use it when needed. As far as I am aware 2.3 is the version that is included in MC by default with the installation. Just use the version that comes with MC and you should be good.

You can find a lot of examples in the documentation, even demo indicators. That should get you going.

Hi,

I posted question of this issue with global variables for MultiCharts in October 2015.
I hade answers from ABCTG and was linked to the page here with the Zip-file.

My question now is if someone work with this in real trading and see that it works stable?

Is this stuff from the link below really the latest version? It looks like it coming from Tradestation.

Thank you in advance // Masse

Masse,

the DLL and accompanying functions are stable.

GlobalVariable and its functions are originally developed by Tradestation, but MC includes a 64bit version of the DLL by default. You would have to check the Tradestation forum to see if there is anything newer than 2.3, but you'd also have to check if the additions would be supported by the DLL included with MC (as you'll need the 64bit DLL when you are using 64bit MC and Tradestation comes with 32bit DLLs).

Regards,

ABCTG
