I have been using Kinetick and Interactive Brokers with NinjaTrader as my system for over 6 months. Ever since I have been using those services, almost every single day, I receive a notification stating that the connection has been lost. Then it goes on to reconnect automatically seconds later. This happens several times a day, especially early in the morning. I am unsure as to what the problem is. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is it possible that this is an effect of Kinetick's or IB's services? Could anyone perhaps shed some light on this situation? It was especially inconvenient this morning. And I also receive a notification stating "Kinetick: Disconnect enforced by 2nd login to the same account." I have never logged in twice to the same account.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
This is the capture for the notifications.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
The error is basically telling you there is a second login, so you are being disconnected.
It could be caused by flaky internet, how good is your connection? Does it go up and down (separate from Kinetick)?
You should definitely call Kinetick tech support and ask them to check the IP addresses for these logins, because it is possible that someone else is using your credentials. If the IP's are all matching (yours) then it just indicates a flaky internet connection.

Are you using cable internet for example Comcast. If so go around to all the coaxial cable wall connections. Take the plate off the wall and make sure the connections are all secure and tightly together. Also pull some cable out from the wall and check for cuts or "nicked" in the coaxial. Check every location you can find. Do the same for whatever type of internet service you might have.
This was part of my problem a few years ago. I did not have the multiple login issue just poor internet. I had a business internet line installed and found a coaxial which was sliced part way thru. Luckily there was enough cable in the wall to just cut off the bad part and put a new end on and reattach.
I would change the password with kinetick too.

Right now, I am using Cox Cable with a 100 Mbps subscription. I'm thinking it might be a problem with my modem. I ordered a new one right now and will test it out. Hopefully, that will fix it. Thanks everyone for replying.
