IT IS TRUE ? ? ?

my style is quick trading decisions for 10 ticks to 20 Ticks on example E NQ 100 i can do this on a cme delayed feed? or i need a Realtime feed for do this quick trade decisions?

For Sure is realtime feed better and fast but it is possible or i can forget this quick scalp decision trades with a delayed feed?

Can't decide if you are being serious, but anyway, it would be like trading blindfolded.

I would beg you to not pursue trading, there are other things out there where you can be happy. You need a really firm grasp on reality to be a successful trader.

This has to be the most amazing post I have ever read here.

The question is, for real-time, live trading, aiming to do very short-term scalping, do you actually need real-time, live data, or can you just make a real trade, using actual money, based on information that is 15 minutes old? Scalping for 10 or 20 NQ ticks? And making "quick trading decisions" with that out-of-date information?....

Well, to answer the question, a delayed feed is not useful "only" for "long term traders." A delayed feed may be useful for someone who has never encountered the markets before, to learn something about how price moves, but it is worthless for anyone doing any kind of actual trading, long, short or medium term.

It would be like someone driving their car, but only being able to see what the other cars on the road were doing 15 minutes ago. The experience would be short.

Don't try this.

I have to say that I'm not sure if this is a joke, to just troll the forum. But if you really meant it, no, you can't do it this way....

Bob.

@POWERADE, it's actually much much easier than that.

Get both the delayed and real-time data feed.

When the real-time price is HIGHER than the delayed, buy the market on the delayed feed.

When the real-time price is LOWER than the delayed, short the market on the delayed feed.

I'm sure we'll need to come up with some money management techniques and stop-loss strategies, but I think we can make this work.

Jeez, you guys are brutal. He's probably not a native English speaker and is just confused about the time change.

He's asking if he can scalp on a 20 minute delayed feed, I don't think it's a language issue or about the CME time change that just happened.

Seriously it's hard not to be brutal.
