Hello, there's been some similar threads but no clear answer.

I would like to know if it's possible to input a trailing stop order (/ES) using the Active Trader DOM in Think or swim?

Cheers.

I have to say No. the only types of things you can do in the Trading DOME are Single Orders, OCO (order cancels order) and ordering brackets.

You'll have to put in an order entry ticket and create a trailing stop that way.

OK, thanks for the response. Shame this feature doesn't exist as most DOM's have this functionality.

Multicharts has a Good DOM. I have covered it here, although did not finish all functionalities:

Thanks,

rmejia has it right in his pic.

And you can save various orders as templates by clicking the floppy disk icon to the right. You can also select bid/ask/mark references in the link column to the left. You can make a configuration and see what it looks like by hovering over the order column in the DOM. Note that the templates group for the DOM are separate and act differently than the template group used on order tickets and chart clicks (right-click menu).
