Hello......Mr. Anderson.

But no really, hello everybody! I'm a complete and total noob when it comes to trading, but it seems like something I could become good at and actually enjoy! And when I say noob, I mean that I didn't even know what bullish meant to answer the question when registering here and had to Google it! I have been interested in the stock market for many years but never took the time to learn anything about it because I had no money, no hope of building any savings, and thought you needed $10,000+ just to hope to start in this game. I had completely blown off the idea until recently when I read an article about a day trader who started from near nothing and is now a multimillionaire. Now, I don't think for a second that it's easy, or that I'll become a millionaire overnight, but with enough hard work and dedication, I believe that I can eventually make this my job and hope to be able to enjoy life, not just struggle through it. As of right now, I'm a custom installer at a car audio shop and work 6 days a week, 10+ hours a day in the tropical Florida heat. It sucks not being able to enjoy life and basically just living at work. My plan is to save up some money over the next 6+ months and to study as hard as humanly possible in the mean time to gain as much knowledge as I can before I begin trading. I would like to focus on day trading, but I'm open to other options you guys may suggest. Also, in the little research I've done so far, it seems that ninjatrader is most people's preferred platform so I will need to buy that as well. If any of you could give me just a few tips as far as what threads here would be the best to start with and learn from, as well as what platforms you use or suggest that would be very much appreciated. I plan to start a thread soon to document my journey from noob to trader, and my successes/failures along the way. With any luck, I will make a few friends along the way and pick up a new profession/skill that I can use to further my personal and family goals. Thanks for looking everyone, and thanks in advance for any tips and advice I receive.
