Is there a thread here that catalogues a list of mathematically sound ATM Strategies for scalping and for swinging trades?
If not, maybe we could collect say 6 best of each? I'm not sure if they'd need to be grouped by number of targets (implying a minimum number of contracts ) but probably not.
At the moment I'm focusing on ES and later $EURUSD.
From ideas borrowed in one of Al Brooks articles, I've created various Swing ATM setups for ES, which for example target 16 ticks, with an 8 tick stop and move stop to break-even plus 4 ticks at 8 ticks profit. But there are many options for what to do from there. I'm assuming that for ES there are some options that are significantly better for consistent, frequent wins. Maybe, some of you would be interested in finding some strong examples?
For $EURUSD, would they need to be any different, or would the math be sound in all markets? I guess the ticks traders usually target are different but the ratios are the same? eg. 10pips instead of 5 or 9 ticks for a scalp?
