just wondering if anyone would be able to have some one on one chat time with me on some of the basics of SC. trying to make the transition to SC from NT.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
im trying to get something setup on the trial right now with CL. things that confuse me:
- right off the bat i need to set my global time zone right? im CST so i changed to that. do i put it in the exchange time zone, which would be EST?
- i then set the global symbol intraday session times to CST for the RTH and the evening ETH session. not sure if i should set this time zone setting here as well? is this how you correctly enter the times in SC?
- i set the continuous contract to volume based rollover, back adjusted. im guessing this just manually rolls over at the point volume switches over, or does it wait for a day to end to switch? also does this setting have anything to do with the setting in the global symbol settings?
i guess ill just start with these questions.

It all up to you, set the timezone you are confortable with, for example i use my timezone that is GMT + 1, so I have the session start at 00.00, I use only globex.
Change Intraday data storage time unit to 1 tick.
For rollover I use the pre-configured setting and do it manually when the next contract has more volume.
The global time zone is the time zone you want Sierra to chart in. For example, my current time zone is equal to Chicago time, but I prefer my charts plot in Eastern time. I set Eastern time in Sierra.
For session times, it has nothing to do with "comfort". There are correct session times, and there is everything else. You can find correct session times on the CME website.
There is no product in the world that should start at midnight.
so its like NT session times. set the session times to the CME times, for crude this would be EST. what is odd is right now i have my SC global time zone set to CST and my session times for CL in CST as well. open at 8am CST. it looks to be correct, but i may be missing something.
