Several months ago I asked Larry at Ninza.com indicators to come up with a ruler that would show the $value of the move I was trying to measure. I could have sworn that I'd seen something like this a couple years back but couldn't find it. He did and you can find that indicator or ruler enhancement here: Smart Ruler for [AUTOLINK]NinjaTrader[/AUTOLINK] 7 - ninZa.co
In about a month he is coming out with the Line Ruler that will allow you to print the result on the chart like the existing ninja ruler, which the smart ruler, unfortunately doesn't do.
I have no affiliation with ninza.co other than I find him easy to deal with and receptive to ideas. He developed an Ichimoku indicator that I suggested which displayed the future 26 period without having to move the chart to the left.
Here are two that I found, however, they are not as robust as my first recommendation on the Ninza.co ruler. But, these are free.

I purchased the smart ruler and it is a nice tool to have.. Then I'm not guessing how many pips there are exactly.
Well just wanted to provide my feedback. (As a hate buying things and finding out there not very good)

V4: 1/13/17, added option to display ruler in Ticks or Dollars. Also can now multiply ruler values by "LotSize" (default is 1). This version also contains a modified ChartHelper which allows ruler to work properly on 6E and 6J symbols.
