4 months later and still no comments from futures.io members. Do members use MC .net? MC and MC .net has left me confused. From what I can disseminate it is MC with .NET platform. Obvious but can current addons/indicators from MC be used in MC .net? Or does MC .ne have every indicator built in that most users would want. Thus no need convert ELD to .net. Why would a new user want to use this product? From what I have read here the stale rumors on the status of MC let alone it's offspring MC .net. and it's cousin Tradingview (web based). Ahh the move to web to create a subscription model. No one would go web unless it was better, faster, and cheaper. There is too much competition out there to force a web-based trading platform model. And as far as the originator of this thread asks. Can one convert code from ELD to MC .net? Crickets? I'm hearing cricktets? (That means no answer from the internet.) Uncertainty breeds insecurity which breeds distrust. Just saying!

New trader finding their way in a fragmented burned bridges (i.e. Ninja platform now broker-aligned) world. Old friends (NinjaTrader brokers) now rivals. Sorry for extra commentary. No one listening anyway.

10kTrader,

code from MC can't be imported into MC.NET and vice versa. All standard indicators that are build in are available in both platforms (at least I am not aware of one that is not available for MC.NET). Regarding add-ons they would only be available if the developer has a version coded for MC.NET. Therefore some will only be available for MC while others might only be available for MC.NET.
You can usually convert the indicator to MC.NET, if by convert you mean re-write the indicator in C# or VB.

Regards,

ABCTG

That's the clarification I was looking for. If I want something that existed in MC and want to use it in MC .net I will have to program it myself.
