as you see when visiting my profile I stopped working on my old journal. I did that because I felt too much pressure showing my mistakes to the community.
However, I analyzed my work since I started trading and came to a conclusion that I learned a lot but I think I am at a point where I learned "too lot". Not trying to sound arrogant, please dont get me wrong but somehow its always the same with me. I start doing something, I am good at it and win. When the first drawdown comes (after 50-70 trades) I cant get out of it and it kickes me mentally out of the game.
I did a lot, I worked with Volume Profiles, Market Profiles, Point and Figure Charts, Range Charts, Sets of Indicators, Tick Charts, Footprints and so on. Probably everything you can think of.
Still, my first tries didnt get me anything, but later I started to using the DOM heavily and only used all those things for context to trade off while watching the DOM. This improved my trading by a lot, still I think I allready had that "It finally made click for me, nice" moment like ten times, but everytime I had a drawdown at some point and started all over again replacing my "context tools".
Now I am at a point where I want to do a stop and restart without using all those charts and indicators and so on. I will only focus on my DOMs this time, hopefully now without getting distracted from other tools and maybe in the end "getting it" this time. Also I feel that I need to post all of my trades with consequence in order to achive that goal. I think I need the pressure to really not get away from my approach again.
I hope its OK to open another thread, if not I will continue the old one.
So its going to be about scalping the ES with only having a look at the daily volume profile to understand the action and I am going to use a resetable vp for entry points and reading market psychology.
If there are any special questions about my technique or my way of trading please just shoot.
