Hi again folks,
I am having a problem with creating a stop loss order for a position that I am holding in the thinkorswim platform.
When I try to create a stop order by clicking on my position, and choosing "create closing order" I get an error that says my order was rejected as the stock cannot be borrowed. I don't understand this as I own 148 shares of said stock. It just seems that there is no way to set a stop on the position that I hold and it's quite annoying. I've been able to create stop orders as part of the OCO special order, but that won't work when I have a position and didn't set the brackets with the initial order. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Take care,
Sano
