Hi,
I have been operating with two installations of NT7, one on my PC for intra day futures, the other on my laptop for EOD stocks.
I now think I’d like to have only the one installation of NT7 on my PC and would like to move all my work spaces, charts, instruments that I have set up in the instrument manager, etc, all over to the PC from the laptop.
I wish to know the best way to do this without losing anything on either system.
Can anyone provide me some advice please?

Instrument master data (additional instruments, exchanges, manually inserted rollover dates) and session templates.
If you wish to keep some of the non-transferable items, you need to reenter them manually. You do not have any other choice. If you wish to keep transferable items, you simply need to copy the from the subfolder of Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 to the identical subfolder for the second NinjaTrader installation.
Indicators: Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/Indicator -> please copy indicators together with all referenced files and then do a manual recompile of the new installation
Strategies: Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/Strategy -> please copy strategies together with all referenced indicators and files and then do a manual recompile of the new installation
Assemblies: In case the assemblies run on a commercial license, you need to transfer the license to the new machine. Best import the assemblies via File -> Utilities -> Import NinjaScript. Alternatively copy old assemblies (but not the NinjaTrader assemblies) to the folder Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/ and enter references manually as needed.
Bar types: Located in Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom/Type. You may need to change the registration for the period type, if there is a conflict with existing bar types for the new installation.
All other transferable items can be simply copied from the old to the new installation.
