Secondly, I was looking through pics of the trading pits and came across this one that is from an article in 2011 disucssing Oil's rapid rise and the Saudi's plans to keep supply up (ironic at this present moment!)
Anyway it looks as though they have the TT DOM up on the screens in the pit. Is this right? It just struck me as odd but I suppose it could be the new norm now that electronic trading and platforms take over from traditional methods. Can anyone give some useful insight?

Cool, I had no idea that was the case. I guess that helps understand TT's monopoly in that area and it actually makes me appreciate the importance of the DOM a little more I suppose, seeing as it's and usage/implementation in the pits was probably transfered very easily across to electronic trading.
