Hi Big Mike and fellow traders still on demo account and made some gains and some losses, I live in the UK would love to speak to other UK traders on tax, leverage and other stuff. No idea how all this works. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Also anyone using Traders hideout platform, so far I love it.

Spread betting seems to be favorable among UK traders because of the tax benefits , compared to regular trading.

Leverage is a no-brainer to me. I trade CFD's & forex , lot sizes there are tiny . If I want more
or less leverage I adjust my lot amount. In futures trading that's different.

I never use more than 1% risk on any trade , that's it.
