Hi - does anyone have recent experience they can share of downloading and using historical Market Replay data for Ninja Trader from MarketReplay.net? I only need a few spot FX pairs and a couple of indices for a few months back, but even for that, NT's native 'one indice and one day at a time' Market Replay download is a real pain.
I ask here because the few reviews I can find elsewhere are mostly so aggressive they read like they were written by competitors of the company. Some even say stuff like 'they steal your trading strategy'. Yeah, sure - good luck to anybody stealing mine :-)
I have used this company for two years. The first year was mainly good experience.
However, the second year (still current) has been iffy and I have pretty much given up due to errors and 'help' which is inconsistent with what I have been told before and doesn't make much sense. When downloading data, I was also getting strange errors. For example when downloading a batch of data the run aborts without errors but then downloading individual days does seem to work.
Another point, is that even if you have a full paid subscription, if you download too much data, they block your account!!! I had to then email them to get it re-enabled.
I frankly don't have much time to mess around so I as I mentioned, I have pretty much given up.
