Can someone show me how to plot on the price panel when a subgraph study crosses above/below zero line?

If subgraph study 4 crosses below 0 - plot letter 'Z' in red on price panel, a few ticks above the current price.

If subgraph study 4 crosses above 0 - plot letter 'Z' in blue on price panel, a few ticks below current price.

I'm just trying to use the Z-score function but visualize it in a different way.

I assume I can also adapt the above formula example to be able to also plot when the z-score hits a standard deviation of +/- 1.

Use 'Color Bar Based on Alert Condition' - one instance for crossing from above and one from below.

Set alert condition to something like '=CROSSFROMABOVE(ID4.SG1, 0)

Set Study setting 'Output when condition true' to 'Use input value' and set input value to high or low depending on where you want the text.

Set the drawstyle to 'Text' and enter Z for Text to Draw.

You can set the offset by ticks or by percentage.

Works perfectly, thank you!

Could you also tell me how to test if the subgraph value is > x (ie > 1 or < -1)?

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for on this one.

If just a separate alert for greater than 1, just use '=ID4.SG1>1'

You can also use CROSSFROMABOVE or CROSSFROMBELOW, such as '=CROSSFROMABOVE(ID4.SG1, -1)'

If you are combining the criteria, just put both criteria in an AND statement.

Perfect, thanks. You can tell I am a complete novice at this, I just never took time to learn this part of Sierra.
