Hi All!

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself here!

Been looking around Big Mikes now for a little while and decided to join and get involved and learn more about price action, strategies and learn about other traders experiences.

I know a little but I feel that I need to understand the importantance of price action first.
I've looked at Al Brooks Trading Course and feel that would be a good way to understand and learn p/a.
What do others think?

After some education I'm thinking of spending time SIM trading.
My first strategy will be to learn scalp trading to slowly build my account. That will allow me to then buy larger volume, when I say that, growing from 1 contract to 2, then 3, 4, 5, etc.

I have so much going through my head, don't know where to start, but I have started!

Thanks guys, I'm really looking forward to learning so much, starting to trade and sharing my experiences!

Scalping is very difficult. Scalping ES daytime hours is a waste of time. Since you live live in Australia, if you think you really need to trade ES then do it during the market turns - switches from following the Asian to the Europeen session. You might get 2-3 trades a night but they might be very high probability. Something you can eventually throw large size at.

Otherwise, trading fees will kill you.

Check out a couple of the journals that are trading the ES. There are a couple of journals using price action and 2000 tick charts for the ES during US rth's. Alot can be learned from others experiences/journals.

Personally I feel ES is one of the hardest to trade but then again I like fast movers that dont make a lot of chop
