Hi All,

I know I'm not the only one who has been frustrated by the breadth indicators provided by Barchart. $TICK, $TRIN, ADV-DECL etc are just not reliable.

I'm looking for a data provider for EOD data (I use for correct pivot calculation and I like to see daily historic data) as well as market internals such as TICK and TRIN etc.

Can anyone comment on their experience / make a recommendation? I'm guessing that it's going to be something like:

IB / IQ Feed / Open Tick / TD Ameritrade / ????

Particularly taking into account value for money (eg, esignal is expensive).

Any guidance VERY MUCH APPRECIATED !

Cheers

I have been using EOD data from Stock, Futures and FOREX End of Day Data in MetaStock Data and ASCII Data formats

Excellent data and very good service. Have been using them for a number of years

Thanks PerryG, do you have to load that manually though? Or does it feed Ninja directly?

Cheers

Waverider,

Premium Data supplies EOD data in MetaStock form, which cannot be read by Ninja 6.5 I beleive that ver 7 will read metastock.

I pair IQFeed with Zen to pick up index data like $TICK etc. Been very happy with it.

The new NT feed Kinetic would be another option (it is just a repackaged version of IQFeed with different symbol limits).

How much does IQFeed charge for market internal indicators only? Is there a free source for realtime market internal data? I'm guessing probably not...

i was told $60,-/month is the basic fee for IQFeed... (startup fee 50,-/once)

"IQFeed Basic Service: $60/month *"
