I am a newbie trying to get into trading E-mini futures. I am trying to find out which broker(s) offer the most reasonable commissions including all fees (round trip costs) for small accounts. I am using a demo from AMP futures using NT and I am not fully convinced that you can open an account with $500 with a margin of $400 and think they are some hidden fees that I am not being told about. Any thoughts or suggestions before I open an account with any broker for that matter. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Armando

Check out ninjatrader brokerage the round trip for emini futures is $3.38.

https://ninjatrader.com/

They have an inactivity fee of $25 if you use their data. Also you will have to pay a mandatory CME fee, cme fee will apply with any broker you open an account.

You should reconsider the idea of opening an account to trade the e-mini if you are only going to open it with $500.

$1.000 is the minimum amount for opening an account with NT Brokerage, and to be honest, I wouldn't recommend to start trading futures at all with such a small amount of $$$.
