Hi guys,

I was wondering if it is possible to trade with MT4 on your PC, for example, and then open your laptop and have everything duplicated exactly as it appears on your PC screen?

This includes and notes or lines you have drawn, or settings including templates you have created on your PC...?

Reason: I sometimes have to leave my study while Im watching something, or busy trading something, and then I have to remember exactly what the setup was I was looking at on my PC. I sometimes use TeamViewer to log into my PC, but this can be a bit slow and hard to read as the resolution is not that great on the laptop...

Any way to duplicate what you have on your PC to your laptop?

Hope this makes sense?

Cheers!

HI,

If you make changes continuosly and needs connect to your MT4 at different machines, the Best option

in your case it's run it at VPS.

Only needs an RDP connection at each one of your pc's and running 24 hours whitout interruption.

Teamviewer is another cheap solution but only for emergencies and needs leaves connected your pc's.

A cheap VPS cover your needs and if you try a low latency towards your broker is better option.

Good Trading

The simplest way to do this is to open a copy of MT4 on as many computers as you need. Create a template of you indicators/setups (assuming that you don't add things every few days) -- copy the template to the other machines - now all of you machines have the identical layout - next you simply take the login - password, and server info from your "main" machine and use it to log into any of the other machines - this way your entire trade history follows you to each machine. If you make any changes to your template you will have to manually do the same to each copy as the templates are auto updating across different machines - hope this helps
