Can I trade 10 contracts at one time in the Russell 2000?
As @sam028 already stated, of course you can trade 10 contracts in TF and GC (as well as in any other market).
But your fills will depend on current liquidity and volume of these markets by the time you place your orders, so it could happen that you get different fills (and appropriate slippage as well) for your orders.

The published margin is $5,610 per contract, but my broker asks $500 currently for intra-day.
Assuming you have a full margin only broker, to control 10 contracts you'd need $56,100 in margin, and on a intra-day supporting broker, $5,000 in margin provided you bail before closing of the ICE market.
So, can you trade 10 contracts, yes, sure you can, if you have the margin requirements your broker imposes on you.
Lots to learn here, do tons of research, and don't trade until you understand what you're doing!
