hi! folks this is Juan from Argentina and i wanna ask you this

ive been reading some books about day trading and hedge funds and especialy the book by Tim Sykes about them. But i can see the difference between a day trader and a hedge fund manager (or trader) that starts a funds as his/her only employee
i mean if i dont read wrong in the Tim's book he opened the hedge fund but he continue doing the same things. "Gaming" (as he calls it) with penny stocks and even doing sell shorting.

i appreciate if you could tell me then the difference between a day trader and a hedge fund manager.

thank you

Juan

In answer to your question, I would suggest reading all the Market Wizards books by Schwager. Pay special attention to where he profiles Martin "Buzzy" Schwartz. Maybe even dive into Martins biography Pit Bull by dave Morine and Paul Flint.

In a nutshell, the difference is in who you answer to.

Head up and keep your stick on the ice!
