I want to be able to compare current bar (today's bar) with previous days bar before the market closes today... if the high of todays bar is lower than the high of yesterdays bar, execute a trade before the close without human intervention. I do not want this to run everyday but only when i think there is a trading opportunity. I am new to think or swim so whats the best way to do this?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
most platforms can only evaluate a bar after it has completed. you could build it on the cash, but then trade the futures, which would still be open if you are wanting to evaluate daily bars.
