elsystem.Timer.Start and instant trading order with correct code
1) a solution to introduce in my code a timer that kicks in when a new trade is filled and it elapses after xxxxxxx milliseconds.
something like
if xxx = true buy xxxx
if marketposition = 1 then timerstarts
if timer elapsed then sell next bar at market
with elsystem.timer.start and stop, if that is possible.
2) I am trying to understand the wording for coding the entry when a condition is true (exactly in the same instant) and not waiting for next bar to open - this is the case in which a bid/ask hits the upper or lower Bollinger band - I just need the trade to be executed in that moment.
Appreciated in advance very much the time you gonna spend in communicating with me.
Have a good coding and trading day!

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
opening one thread is usually enough and keeps the focus on your questions.
Regarding your first question you can find a bunch of timer examples in the Tradestion forum.
For the second topic you need to look into intrabar order generation and intrabarpersist for variables. So they can change their value intrabar and orders can be executed with the next tick.
