This is paid job for R.
I want someone to deliver turn-key code for R 3.x (linux) where we have a calendar of upcoming earnings, and we capture the EPS estimate before as well as actual numbers after the release.
I'll take care of putting this in and out of a database, you can just store it in a flat file or whatever is easier for you. Ultimately it will go to MySQL.
There are several sources for the data, but I lack time to put all the pieces together right now so am looking to pay for it to fast track the progress.
The ability to filter based on market cap is a requirement, say top 100 by market cap as an example to start. US exchanges.
At a configurable interval ahead of the release (say 24 hours), R will make a call to the futures.io (formerly BMT) API and post on the forum the upcoming earnings info. After the release it will post the earnings result. Each post will go into the appropriate titled thread on futures.io (formerly BMT) (I can store this in an array, you can use dummy variables for now).
