Ninja appears to be having chronic historical data issues lately. I have dodged most of these problems
because I start trading so early, but this morning all of Friday was missing from June contract / NQ. ... and
most every other instrument from what I have gathered.


Perhaps we could use this thread to discuss what is going on here.


I am using NT / AMP / CQG.


Is the continued historical data loss just with CQG or are other feeds affected.

Maybe someone can explain how the historical data is kept, who is keeping it... etc....


This is a killer for cats that depend on daily pivots and VP .

Someone fill a man in on how this thing works . ...

This is an issue which we are aware of and Historical Data Server maintenance is underway right now. It is likely that the missing data will be available again tomorrow morning based on the information which I see in our reporting system.

Sry but this the standard response and it su***!

What about traders that need historical data?

The are forced to sit on their hands and do nothing!

Hope you guys have a backup connection that does not need NT's data servers.

@tderrick please mention ninjatrader in your first post that it is adressed to Ray.

This is most unfortunate ....


OK ... someone give me the name of a platform that I could most quickly grasp coming from Ninja...

It is time to implement a backup platform and feed ... and perhaps a permanent switch ...

unbearable...

I donīt understand why it always takes so much time to restore the historical data. Do they not have any backup servers?

This issue occurs with increasing regularity.

Please switch to RANGE Charts. FDAX does work with RANGE charts.

I am totally confused...lol.

Looks like a NT issue and not a data issue?!
