one of my clients would like to use his Bloomberg connection with Ninjatrader (FIX).
Goal would be to let an automated Ninja-strategy run through this interface.
Does anybody of you have some experiences in that topic, or already done some work on FIX <-> Ninja interfacing?
1) Thanks for pointing me to Tradebook. This Bloomberg topic is very new to me... (I used IB)
2) Have you already written something that is usable to execute trades from Ninjatrader with Tradebook?
As far I can see now, the goal would be that Ninjatrader can connect to Bloomberg Terminal
through the FIX protocol and exec trades? Hope this questions is not too "noobish".
All the best

I have written things that go between Bloomberg and other things, but not NinjaTrader.
You mention FIX, and I am wondering if you mean FIX for trade execution. I think you probably want to access the normal Bloomberg routes like BPIPE.
I am sorry I cannot give more complete answers, but I am not sure what piece you are looking for in terms of what is in the Bloomberg terminal.
Thanks traderwerks,
you know, I have never worked with Bloomberg terminal... In the next days I'm visiting
the client and come back to you with more sophisticated and on the point questions.
I will write you an PM if I know that there is a (payed) project, maybe we could have a chat via skype
then and think about a programming cooperation?
