I have created an indicator that utilizes moving average envelopes (MAE). In this new indicator, I would like to be able to adjust the parameters of the MAE % without needing to go into the code - but it does not show up in the settings for the indicator.

How do I tell NinjaTrader to make certain values adjustable from the settings?

I know that it has something to do with the get/set. But I don't really understand that and how do I tell it what to get and what to set as I am referencing several indicators - but this is the only one that needs to have user defined settings?

I have actually now figured out how to get the setting - but it is only changing in whole numbers - even though I have it set as a double variable

Here is the code:

Code
 #region Properties

		[Description("Number of Periods")]
		[GridCategory("Parameters")]
		public double MAEPerc
		{
			get {return maEnvPerc; }
			set { maEnvPerc = Math.Max(1, value); }
		}
