Hello futures.io (formerly BMT) forum,

I am having a problem trying to use my automated trading systems in global simulation mode. I am able to back test these in the Strategy Analyzer and they get results, but when I forward test they never get into any trades. They are enabled and green in the strategies section.

I have heard that when simulating historical data makes the forward testing fussy.

Thank you,
Sam

Make sure you've got data loaded for the period you want to back test. remember in NT you need to download this before hand.

And by forward test you mean the optimization period? Again you need to load the data for that period.
