Hi all,

I'm just wondering if there's this multiple timeframe feature on NT ( I've seen it on TradeStation) where if you have say a daily chart and a tick chart, moving your cursor on 1 chart will auto direct on the other chart...

And if say I want to load both daily and tick chart every time, any quick tip to do it? Currently I'll need to load the charts 2 times...

Just wondering....thanks

If you want to connect several charts in the way that the cursor points to the same time, please use "Global Crosshair" for both charts. Global crosshair can be activated via CTRL-G or via dialogue box (right-click your chart).

If you wish to load two charts at a time, you need to save them as workspace. When you load the saved workspace, both charts will show up simultaneously.

That's the name of the feature that allows the same crosshairs to be synchronized across all charts of an instrument.

Not "multiple time frames". Let's keep the terminology accurate to avoid unnecessary confusion. Thank you.

zondor has hit it on the head.

regarding multiple time-frames its also a very useful feature to look at them on the same chart. Personally I sometimes like to see if the current print on a faster time frame (e.g. 5m) is sitting in the middle/top/bottom of the range of a slower time frame (e.g. 1h). any system where you can have multiple series on the same chart should have this feature.
