I have been looking to code my trading strategy which uses third party indicators into Ninja. Unfortunately, their code is locked and I can't select the indicators inside the strategy wizard. After much searching on this forum, i think I have found the same or comparable indicators that the vendor used to create their "custom" indicators. My question is if the futures.io (formerly BMT) indicators in the downloads section are open source and the code able to be modified and/or used in the Strategy Wizard?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
There's several thousand indicators on futures.io (formerly BMT). Our guiding principle is "no DLLs, no obfuscated code". There have been a couple of exceptions over the years for a couple of users who earned the right to qualify for an exception on a case-by-case basis. So the answer is 99.99% of indicators on futures.io (formerly BMT) are open code, not obfuscated.
