Price Action Trading Institute, Kim Krompass - Whaddya know?
She is a Forex price action trader that uses a naked chart with just a daily High and Low indie. She also boxes the Asian session and notes the Asian range. So it's a pretty clean set up.
She offers a T, W, Th plan where at 5:30a PT she goes over the Forex price action from the overnight and discusses trade ideas (all via a GoToMeeting). On W she then has a 12p PT recap webinar where she goes back through the trades for that day. Finally, she also has a Non-Farm Payroll webinar. The videos in her blog outline her approach. Her plan is $147/mo or $19.95 for 1 week.
She advocates classic price action decision making: sell/buy range tops/bottoms and entering long or short on breakout pull backs. She likes the 00, 20, 50, 80 and 00 levels. Her core pairs are the EUR/USD, EUR/JPN, GBP/USD and GBP/JPN, and she also watches the USD/AUD, USD/CHF and USD/JPN.
On the face of it, I like her approach and strategy, in that it is pure price action. Good entries and exits are challenging, and my thinking was that she could help me better understand the some of the market theory around why she enters and exits where she does. However, she makes no mention of a trade track record, so it is difficult to know if she is for real or not.
In any event, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with the PATI and what their thoughts were.
