I'm not quite sure if you can turn the PnL display completely off, but if you go to ChartTraderProperties (right click in the ChartTrader panel) you might choose the percent or points option in order to not get distracted by a floating $$ amount.

There are several 'indicators' on the site that modify the ChartTrader interface; you could probably modify one of those to remove the PnL textbox. But you'd still have the lines drawn on the chart with info about the position.

It puts a mini version of Chart Trader on a floating window (small) that sits over your main chart.
This means you don't need CT window open and you have the ability to select a number of options/functions to show or not show on the mini panel.
Best of all (for you) is it does not show the P&L in any form.
