Hello,

Is there a way to NOT display the PnL display unit on the chart trader when you are in a trade?

I wan´t to do this to improve my trading, if I have the PnL in front of me I am more focused on it and not letting the trade workout

Thanks,
JJ

I'm not quite sure if you can turn the PnL display completely off, but if you go to ChartTraderProperties (right click in the ChartTrader panel) you might choose the percent or points option in order to not get distracted by a floating $$ amount.

There are several 'indicators' on the site that modify the ChartTrader interface; you could probably modify one of those to remove the PnL textbox. But you'd still have the lines drawn on the chart with info about the position.

Hello,

I have already set the PnL on ticks but that is not helping me because I then calculate the amount of money by the ticks.
I wan´t it completely off.

Hello,

The lines for the position are not disturbing me, it is the displayed PnL that I wan´t to get rid of.

some old suggestions;

-Just move the DOM down the screen until everything below the price rows isn't showing.

-Add some extra price rows too in the properties to make it taller so you get a better view.

-sticky note to block it out.

I think the OP is using Chart Trader and not the DOM

Use @vvhg miniTradePanel

It puts a mini version of Chart Trader on a floating window (small) that sits over your main chart.

This means you don't need CT window open and you have the ability to select a number of options/functions to show or not show on the mini panel.

Best of all (for you) is it does not show the P&L in any form.

Enjoy!
