I'm looking to find a shirt pocket or similar sized camera with at least 10MP and the feature on my DSLR that I love.....the ability to hold down the shutter and take continuous photos. The rest can be all auto settings as far as I'm concerned. A good telephoto would be nice as well.

No detachable lenses either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The Nikon J3 - The Nikon 1 J3 digital camera | Nikon 1 system digital camera

While not exactly shirt pocket, it is a great mirrorless camera and has the ability to take in a telephoto lens via a FT-1 mount adapter.

It has the feature you talk about.

I use its predecessor J1 and love it - a handy camera with many features of a DSLR!

Currently available for $399 instead of $599 after $200 rebate.

@PandaWarrior,

Which DSLR do you own?

It usually makes better sense to stick to a known family.

I thought of that one, too bulky though. I want something I can slip in my minimalist backpack without taking up to much space but still takes pictures continuously if you hold the shutter down.

I have a Sony DSLR. I'm not a huge fan so I don't care about the family.
