They don't always get top reviews, but I have one that's almost four years old and got one for my parents that's 5 years old, which my nephews also use and abuse, and no problems so far except the usual dead batteries after couple years.

As long as you're aware it's an average machine. While the CPU is OK, the 5400rpm hard disk is as slow as they get; 7200rpm will especially over time deal with "why is Windows so slow" nerves. If this were a primarily NT dedicated PC, it might be an idea to put in a 120Gb SSD (should usually just slide in, in place of the removed hard disk) - the performance gain is quite nice, and Windows 7 still nicely fits within 120GB, leaving at least 60+GB; the hard disk could be made/used for external storage by ordering an external USB 3.0 case (by way of DX.com or some similar place, for cost effectiveness) and you'd still have reasonable storage/read/write speeds.

And if it's to be a NT trading machine, by all means, run a ethernet cable right off your router: trading a real account off wireless is akin to russian roulette IMO.

EDIT: The screen is 1366x768 - it's always nice to have 1600 or more across, or a full 1920x1024, to maximize the real estate to allow the maximum amount of chart space, since most of us like to have many. But, those screens are reserved for pricier laptops.
